Scotscub57 yrshi Howling, thanks for that mate, i do have the Anvil documentary on DVD which is really good, you can pick it up in Tesco's or Asda's for a couple of pounds best to look out when they have sales on, I got mine's for about £4.
I got to0 see the band live here a few months ago & they're just great down to earth guys.
I do like some of the stuff that BBC 4 has at the weekends.
Scotscub57 yrshi there Howling & many of the other British rock fans on here, if you're not going out this Friday 21st Jan, why not grab yourself some beers & pizza etc! & settle down to hours of great rock on BBC4 , there's some Thin Lizzy' s Bad Reputation , Iron Maiden's Film Flight 666 on the band's 2008 world tour, also there Black Sabbath & then some great Bruce Springsteen, sounds like a good night in if it's pretty cold outside.
a memberthanks for the heads up scotscub, it sure looks like a great nights headbanging ahead. I plan to start off the evening gently, with Mozart uncovered (Symphony 40)
Scotscub57 yrsI truely enjoyed the Thin Lizzy story, how they started at the beginning of their career, trying their hardest to get known on the media side & right throught until the end of Phil Lynott's death. It's not cool to take drugs!!
