Josh Homme of Them Crooked Vultures has told how one of the band's early recording sessions had to be postponed - because he'd been arrested.
The Queens of the Stone Age mainman teamed up with Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters and John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin to create the supergroup, and by the summer of this year they were in the studio. But Homme had to tell his new colleagues he couldn't make the third session because he was behind bars.
He says: "I got arrested - it was total bull because I really was just hanging out. When I got out we were supposed to be recording, so I told the guys, 'Look, I haven't had much sleep, it's going to take me a second to get my thing together.' Not to have one look of judgement was very cool."
Homme didn't discuss the reason behind his arrest.
